Jill, a high school senior, applied to various colleges around the United States. Most of the colleges she applied to are very competitive in terms of the admissions process. Due to an error, the university where she applied sent her an e-mail admitting her to the school. This excited Jill as it was her number one choice! However, the next day the same university apologized and said that the e-mail was sent to all applicants by mistake. The e-mail also said that her application was still under consideration. Do you feel that Jill (if she was not later admitted) would have a successful claim for breach of contract? Why or Why not
