Question

Henry owns a farm with two large dogs that have a tendency to attack people in uniform. One day he decides to carry the dogs for a walk with chains tied around their necks. Unfortunately, there was a defect in the chains, and as Henry entered the park both dogs broke the chains and ran after a policeman who was subsequently bitten. Additionally, the dog knocked down Pat who was fishing in the trench. After the incident, Henry goes back onto the farm and decides to leave the dogs loose on the farm without chaining them. Benny climbs over Henry's fence which is separating Henry and Paul's farms to retrieve his son's cricket ball. Henry's dogs detect a stranger and attack. The Policeman was taken to the hospital and given an anti-tetanus injection to which he suffered an allergic reaction, and his leg was amputated. Discuss liability.
