Task - Reflecting on the impact of Science
Construct and revise an explanation for the outcome of a simple chemical reaction based on the outermost electron states of atoms, trends in the periodic table, and knowledge of the patterns of chemical properties.
Your Role and Goal - You are a chemical engineer who has been able to produce a dietary supplement based on Magnesium Chloride. You think the use of it may help children to overcome the deficit of some minerals registered in children.
Your audience will be government officials from the Health Department in the UAE who you need to convince to allow the production of the dietary supplement within your Emirate.
You will present your findings in a form of a PowerPoint and an oral presentation in which you will explain the science behind this supplementary as well as the advantages and disadvantages thereof.

You are required to do an oral presentation and it should be in the following order:
1: Introduction - where you give a brief overview of what you have produced.
2: Explain the science behind the production of Magnesium Chloride salt including chemical formula and bonding.
3: Discuss the advantages of Magnesium chloride as a dietary supplement.
4: Discuss the disadvantages of magnesium chloride.
5: What is the known effect of the salt on the health of people?

Summarize the main points and give your own opinion.
