Assignment Help Business Management
Reference no: EM13370064 , Length: 1200 words

Task 1

Send a business email to your lecturer with the questions as an attachment. The attachment needs to be a Microsoft Word document. In addition to each question, you need to state what type of question it is (open, closed, leading, multiple etc.) and the reason it is being asked.

Task 2- Interview

Instructions

Remember the team needs to take notes that summarise what has been said and to ask the questions from your email.  Arrive at the meeting on time.  Make sure you listen to the answers given and, although you have a list of questions, be prepared to deviate from this when the information collected makes some questions unnecessary or for additional ones to be asked.  Remember to periodically summarise the information that you are collecting as this confirms that you have understood the answers correctly.  You have a limited time for the meeting so ensure the interviewee keeps to the subject, you get the information that you require, and you don't waste time.

Task 3-Summary

Shortly after the interview, your team needs to meet so you all have the notes from the interview. Then individually you write a summary of the information that you have found out about how the company presently operates the system and what the problems are.

Task 4- Personal Reflection

You need to write a personal reflection on your team work..

Instructions

Your personal reflection needs to include the description (past), interpretation (present) and outcome (future) for each of the following:

1. The methods of communication used by the team and when they were used-such as face-to-face, email, phone, forum.

2. The manner in which your team made decisions e.g. consensus, authoritarian or any other.

3. The way in which the team constructed the list of questions.
