Talking about socialization and internalization and Mead's view of self. In his view of the self, Mead makes a distinction between the "I" and the "me." First, according to Mead, what is the distinction between the "I" and the "me"? Why is there a constant dialogue between the "I" and "me" as you decide what to do?

Then, please give and discuss an example of when you were very conscious of the constant dialogue between the "I" and "me" in your own self. What were you trying to decide? What was the "me" suggesting that you do? What did the "I" suggest that you do? How did you resolve the debate between the two?
