Thank you for taking the time to consider this business proposal. The purpose of this proposal is to introduce a new company, "Pieces," to the marketplace. This company will provide a service and products that will help autistic children learn and grow. This proposal will outline why there is a need for a business, like "Pieces."

Attached you will find a description of the history and problems, what the business is, why the business is needed, what services will be provided and what products will be available. The proposal will contain a time-line that will set dates for certain aspects of the process. The proposal will also contain criteria for choosing this type of business.

I choose "Pieces" as my business, because having a daughter with a form of Autism, has been extremely challenging. After spending countless hour researching, I found that there were very limited resources available to assist these children, or their families. Pieces will be able to assist in bridging the gap.

Proposal

The mission of Pieces is to help children, as well as parents, learn. Since children with Autism struggle with the ability to comprehend in a normal fashion, Pieces will be there to bridge that gap. Parents of these special people, will also be able to gain education about this disorder and to learn what resources are out there for them. Pieces will offer a daycare type setting, with activities that will engage the children in a social type setting.

The facility will lean more towards the service side; however, it will offer some tangible objects that can be purchased to assist with the children's learning, coping and communication skills building. A web-based educational site, for parents and caregivers to find information about services and related topics. There will also be a cafeteria on-site for the children and parents.
