The doctor tells her patient that she must take antbiotics to cure her infection. The medical interpreter, Catalina, who is in the room to interpret, completely disagrees and thinks antibiotics are bad for patients. Catalina studied nursing back in her country, Chile. What should Catalina do?

Catalina should inform the patient, in Spanish, that antibiotics are bad for you and that she shouldn't take them. Catalina should inform the doctor, in English, that she think it's best if the patient tries some herbal tea made with herbs from the Amazon. Catalina should do nothing. She should simply continue interpreting the conversation without interjecting her own opinion. Catalina should keep on interpreting, and before she leaves the room, she should slip the patient a note that instructs her to call Catalina to talk about this.
