A pediatric nurse practitioner is examining a 9-year-old David and his 6 years old sister, Sharon. According to their mother both children developed rashes around dinner time this evening. On examination the rash is similarly distributed over the children's front torsos and thigh. A cloudy fluid discharges from the itchy raised pimples when the children scratch. Resley remembers that she has seen that similar rash before in other children that week. When she went back to her records she notices that she has seen 7 children with a similar condition this week alone. She alerts the authority. Upon investigation it was discovered that all children had swimming classes at the local gym swimming pool.
