As a Surgical Technologist working in the medical field; you are exposed to a lot of Doctors, Nurses, and other Surgical Techs. Over time I developed a professional and personal relationship with them all. When it was time for me to make a career change to another organization; it was always one of my fellow or former co workers who would refer or recommend me for a position. With my career networking skills I was able to gain an abundance of knowledge in different surgical services. For example, I was proficient in general and laparoscopic surgeries. By networking myself, I was about to move through different services like GYN, Ortho, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Urology, and more. This allowed me to expand my skills and make me a valuable asset to any company that preforms surgical procedures.
