x 0 1
f(x) 1-p p

In other words x is a bernuolli random variable and its probability distribution is the bernuolli probability distribution. Supposes it is known that p=0.4 . The range of X is 1. A random sample, (X1,X2,X3) of size n=3 is to be selected and the statistic, the sample range, will be computed as an estimator of the range of X. Find the mean squared error of the sample range.
