Suppose that a hypothesis test is performed at a small significance level. State the appropriate conclusion in each case by referring to Key Fact 9.2. Key fact 9.2= If the null hypothesis is rejected, we conclude that the data provide sufficient evidence to support the alternative hypothesis. If the null hypothesis is not rejected, we conclude that the data do not provide sufficient eveidence to support the alternatrive hypothesis.
