Describe: capture concrete events related to your topic
Inform: why did you select specific practice? Are their specific principles or theories guiding the instructional practices noted? If so, what are they?
Confront: what do the practices say about your assumptions, values, and beliefs about teaching? Where did these ideas come from? What social practices are expressed in the idea? What is it that causes you to maintain practices? What views of power to they embody? Whose interest are served? What is it that acts to constrain my views of what is possible in teaching? Do you see contradictions between teaching/learning philosophy, beliefs and values with enacted practices?
Restructure: how will you address anything learned? What strategies might support addressing challenges with specific component? Are their social, cultural, or institutional structures you need to address?
