Supplemental Needs Trust

(LLL) is invested in learning more about providing a supplemental needs trust to people with disabilities. We are hoping to understand the market, the potential financial returns, and key outcomes to test value of providing service with. With your support, we hope to gain vital insight into community need, potential revenue and benefits to clients.

Organization Overview

(LLL) is one of the largest nonprofit organizations in the state. It provides social services for older adults, people with disabilities, and children and families. In an effort to advance its mission and vision, we are a growth-oriented organization seeking to reach more people who have unmet needs for services to be able to live full and abundant lives.

(LLL) Pooled Trust

LLL Pooled Trust currently provides service to about 700 individuals in a Pooled Trust format. This allows us to manage assets for individuals with disabilities that may put them over particular income limits for social benefits. We would like to grow this service, but growth has been limited to acquisition or merger opportunities. We believe we have hit a ceiling on growth in this manner. A Supplemental Needs Trust would allow us to continue to grow this Line of Service by offering a separate product.

Project Objective

To develop initial target market profile and financial projection for a supplemental needs trust in the state of Florida. We will ultimately use this information as part of a sales plan.
