Since the amount of sunlight a habitat gets is difficult to measure - one can get the impact of sunlight by examining various habitats that differ in the amount of sunlight they receive. For example, habitats such as grasslands, lawns, wetlands, and forests differ in the amount of sunlight they receive due to their unique structure and function and how they interact with sunlight and other abiotic and biotic factors.
