Each of you in your work group represent different areas within your organization and you have been charged with developing a 3- year diversity, equity and inclusion plan for the sport organization of your choice. Using what you have learned in this class to ground you, develop a diversity plan using the guidelines below.
Executive Summary
Provide a summary of your commitment to diversity and inclusion and what we can expect to find in the diversity, equity, and inclusion plan. (3 sentences)
State the goals (I suggest three one-word goals) of your diversity and inclusion plan and list the strategies/actions that you will take to accomplish each goal. (see student example)
Introduction
This section should be about 2 pages where you introduce the problem with diversity and inclusion in sport organizations. (You will need to use scholarly journal articles to support your work. You may use articles from this course)
Rationale
This section should be about 2 pages where you offer the rationale for your approach to addressing issues with diversity and inclusion within your organization. (You will need to use scholarly journal articles to support your work. You may use articles from this course) Hint: What's the benefit of or the "value of diversity" in sport organizations.
Coordinating Efforts
Here you will discuss which units on campus or community partners that you can collaborate with to accomplish the goals of your plan for diversity and inclusion.
