Assessment - Health Plan Design and Payments: Theory and Practice

Description

The final assignment you are to prepare will be a mixed one.This assignment consists of three parts.

1) You will be asked to review the assessments #1 and #2 of another student using model answers and criteria that will be provided to you. (Max 1000 words)
2) Once you did that you need to apply your critical review to the country chosen by your colleague and provide an accurate description of the level of fulfilment of the 10 pre-conditions and the timeline to improve them (Max 1000 words)
3) You need to present point 1 and point 2 in an oral presentation (up to 15 minutes)

Guide

Assessment 1:
• Is there a summary of the regulated competition model?
• Are the aspects of the regulated competition model correctly described? Including:Why the model exists, what the model intends to achieve, and how the model proposes to achieve these goals.
• Is the presence of the preconditions described for the chosen country?
• Is the level of fulfillment of the preconditions described?
• Are the arguments discussed supported by the literature (i.e., are references used?)

Assessment 2:
• Are all of the preconditions evaluated? A good evaluation should include the strengths and weaknesses of the current system.
• Does the roadmap propose solutions to all of the identified problems? A good roadmap should identify the steps necessary for solving the problem.
• Are the proposed solutions viable? Are they supported by evidence or based on the theory of regulated competition?
