Biological evolution refers to the cumulative changes that occur in populations over time, it is concerned with both the mechanism by which changes are produced and also with the changes themselves i.e. the adaptations that have resulted in the vast diversity of organisms that previously and currently exist.
1. Kindly summarize the various kinds of evidence that are used to support the theory of evolution and discuss the mechanism by which it is thought to occur.
2. Outline at least three types of evidence which support the theory of evolution, providing specific examples for each. Ensure to include at least one modern example of observed natural selection and indicate the selective pressure that may have lead to it.
3. Briefly, describe some of the proposed mechanisms for evolution, include in your answer any factors that may have an impact on the process and comment on whether you believe that humans can influence this and why.
4 Provide at least three credible reference sources.
