Spanish Cultural Project Information Sheet and Check-off list
Task:
Select a movie that discusses symbolically (a film) or literally (a documentary) a sociopolitical or historical event/period that is important to the Spanish-speaking world. The film should be in Spanish. Then, watch it. Lastly, prepare a "presentation" on google slides, Prezi or PowerPoint. Save it as a PDF and upload the files (both the original file and the PDF file) on the MODULE'S "Turn it in here" tab.
Your presentation should:1) Summarize the sociopolitical or historical climate that inspired the film2) All text on the slides should be words and phrases. In the notes, you should write what you would have read or discussed with the class if this had been presented in class. If the PDF formatting makes your notes "go away", please submit them in a separate Word. PDF, or google file.3) Discuss the main characters4) Summarize the plot5) Discuss who the director is6) Link a trailer or scene from YouTube7) Discuss the main objectives of the film8) Give your opinion9) Cite sources (links are perfect!)
