The company thus keeps itself clear from such customers.

2. Unsuccessful example of firing the customers is by Sprint Nextel that discontinued many wireless service providers because they consumed too much effort and time of company without being profitable. This created negative publicity for the company on social media as well as created a bad word of mouth, turning away prospects. The decision is still debatable.
