Your personal physician has had his own practice for many years. Due to the increasing costs of maintaining a solo practice he is joining a physician group associated with the local hospital. Your doctor knows you're attending school to become a medical administrative professional. He tells you he is worried because he doesn't think he will collect as much revenue if he doesn't submit his claims on paper and the new group uses primarily electronic claims.
