A researcher is studying the recidivism of offenders who completed a high school diploma program while incarcerated. The researcher wants to know if there is a relationship between offenders completing the diploma program (IV; attributes of "yes" and "no") and the offender being arrested for another crime within 3 months of release from prison (DV, attributes of "yes" and "no"). The sample is 100 offenders (n=100). The results are shown below.
