Your assignment is the study of real financial reports. Three steps are required:

1) Step 1: Gathering information:

In this step, you are to demonstrate your ability in gathering the necessary information from reliable sources (describe details including the source, the path, the time of access, and the results - attach 2~3 screenshots as proof of your work).

2) Step 2: Calculation:

In this step, you are to conduct calculations using the data you collected from Step 1, and demonstrate your ability in applying relevant methodologies learned from the class (follow examples in your textbook or as explained by your instructor).

3) Step 3: Analysis:

In this step, you are to demonstrate your own skills in interpreting the results of calculations from step 2, using your own systematic approach along with a detailed explanation of the reason/logic behind the priority of items in the order of significance, and ending your work with your own evaluation, conclusion, and recommendation/suggestion.

You should choose the latest annual reports of One company from the following list of companies:

Company A: Amazon Company B: Magna
Company C: Shopify Company D: Tesla

Your view/ interpretation of the financial reports should be focused on the solvency/liquidity/profitability of the company as well as its trend in the future (horizontal/vertical analysis and ratio analysis are required, as well as meaningful comparison with competitors and/or industry average).

You are required to write a formal business report all by yourself - using Arial font size 12 with double space not less than 10 pages but no more than 15 pages, in word format.
