A survey was taken of students at a large university in the fall of 2003; among other things, students were asked to report how many credits they were taking and their SAT scores. There is a positive correlation between number of credits taken and Math SAT score. When outliers whose number of credits is below 12 are omitted, there is no longer a substantial correlation between number of credits taken and Math SAT score. If we want to see if Math SAT scores are lower for part-time students compared to full-time students, what display could be used?
