Question

Forty-two students at a local college report to the student health clinic on campus complaining of chills, fever, muscle aches and a bad cough. A severe cold virus is suspected to be going around and the students are treated with standard cold medications. After several days, eight of those students return to the clinic complaining of a much worsened cough, difficult breathing and chest pain when taking a breath. They are diagnosed as suffering with pneumonia. One student, who had undergone a kidney transplant a year before and was taking anti-rejection meds, is rushed to the hospital in respiratory distress. When the cases are investigated, it is discovered that all 42 of the students reside in the same dormitory.
