A true-false test has 100 questions. Each correct answer gets 2 points, but 1 point is taken off for every other kind of answer (wrong, missing, ambiguous, etc). Suppose a student knows the correct answer to 45 of the questions, and for the remaining questions their number of correct answers is well-approximated by a Poisson(5) random variable. What is the student's approximate expected score on the test?
