Instructions:

In biology, the structure of different molecules correlates with its function. All antibodies share some common structural features, that correlate with the function of an antibody.

Create a model made from play dough, or clay, or any kitchen items really, and describe the following structural features, and the role the structures play in the basic functioning of the antibody:

  • The heavy chain
  • The light chain
  • The paratope
  • The hinge
  • The disulfide bonds
