Stress coping skills scenario Andrew was a third-year student nurse studying for a Bachelor of Nursing in Hong Kong. He was a bit depressed as the hospital staff scolded him for performing nursing procedures very slowly and said, "Why are your hands shaking while drawing the drug from the ampule?" He knew that the hospital staff was not by any means to hurt him, but he could not stop thinking about it again and again. After the clinical placement, Andrew felt palpitations whenever he went into the nursing labs. He was afraid of losing control, and sweating was noted. His hand tremors if he needs to do fine-motor nursing procedures such as injections.
