About the Role

This is a hyper growth charged opportunity for a dedicated Talent Acquisition professional to drive all things talent, whilst owning a dedicated portfolio in a collaborative and supportive team.

In this role, the Talent Consultant will be responsible for managing all talent sourcing and recruitment activities. You will be responsible for ensuring we locate and select the best talent, at the right time and taking managers on the change management journey in the ever-changing world of Talent. We are looking for a driven, professional and successful individual who wants to get involved and continue to drive the great culture at Planit.

As we currently work in a hybrid work environment, we are open for the right candidate to be based out of any of our four office across Australia (Brisbane, Sydney, Perth or Melbourne). Minimal travel will be required to our office as a connection point.

Responsbilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment and/or HR experience are all essential in this role;
  • Demonstrate using own initiative, driving projects and ability to learn/adapt new skills;
  • Strategic relationship focused, to cultivate headhunting for the right senior opportunities
  • Adopt a communication first approach to work and proactively use our internal Talent and Application Tracking System
  • Drive and Manage all recruitment activity, including phone screening, reference checking, filing of all interview notes, exam results and hire requisitions, drafting of contracts and maintaining the central database;
  • Work with our Group Bootcamp Coordinator to assist with our Bootcamp entry-level program from end to end
  • Assist the organisation with adhoc project work from a recruitment and HR perspective;
  • Providing timely and accurate support to the local & global HR Team;
  • Assist with the on-boarding and induction experience of all new starters in Sydney, to smoothly transition new employees into the business;
  • Advising on the back end of all changes to employee records, from new hires, contract variations, promotions, internal transfers and terminations;
  • Consult and support the Operations Managers on day to day recruitment and strategies to attract critical talent
  • Managing the @Careers email inbox along with other HR team members;
  • Support with local projects and provide strategic inputs where possible;
  • Experience working within a fast paced environment, ability to work autonomously and well within a team;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

About You - Skills & Experience

We are looking for a driven, professional and successful individual with a "Can do" attitude who wants to get involved and continue to drive the great culture and growth at Planit. To be successful in this role you will have previous experience within a Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Consultant (both external and internal apply) role and will have the battle wounds to show for it!

You are comfortable working in a fast paced and high-volume environment whilst being a jack-of-all-trades in the Recruitment arena! You are confident liaising with senior management and stakeholders at all levels of the business, as well as with third parties, vendors and clients. You are well spoken with excellent communication skills, are highly organised, and a strong team player. You are a quick learner, adaptable and resilient in the face of ambiguity, and ready to tackle any challenge with a smile on your face!
