Part B
It is insufficient to simply give a worker the procedure or a practice and expect them to understand and perform it. Training, instruction, and information must be provided in a form that can be understood by all workers. Information and instruction may also need to be provided to others who enter the workplace, such as customers or visitors.
Prepare a professional report, clearly stating:
• The personnel that can be consulted for developing effective communication strategies
• Strategies for communicating in accordance with statutory requirements
• Provide an example of a written notice about any recent changes in your workplace which can be accessed by all the stakeholders. For example, an e-mail, site notice, site signage, SMS etc. The notice should be clear, simple and should consider cultural and language differences.
