Team Project - Video
The team video is designed to strategic roadmap for Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA), the global drug store operator and distributor over a 5-year period planning period with 2023 being the base year, and the projected 5-year period from 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028. In addition to developing your strategies for increasing Walgreens' competitive advantage, it is important that your team develop real financial projections that reflect the revenue and cost projections associated with your proposed strategies. The financial projections need to be included and explained as part of your video presentation.
Your team will serve as high level consultants presenting to Walgreens' top management team (TMT). This presentation will require your team to research quite extensively, including periodicals, company directories, industry forecasts and rankings & ratings, as well as statistical reference indices. In other words, this is not a Google search paper. Please plan your work accordingly. You will need to secure the company's latest Annual Report and Security Exchange Commission (SEC) filings. The projected financial information needs to clearly delineate your assumptions, calculations and the competitive actions of your analyses. The objective of these financial projections is to have your team lay out a financial blueprint for what your team believes Walgreens needs to do to continue to be successful in a globally challenging industry.
Each team's YouTube video must be professionally produced with PowerPoint slides to guide your audience, including me, through important points throughout your video presentation there is no need to submit a separate PowerPoint slideshow with the YouTube video. All team members must present and interview-ready attired. I expect that your team's presentation will be informative, interesting and professionally compiled and delivered. I will evaluate the visual, as well as the content elements of your video.
Only a YouTube format video will be accepted. This should not be a simple PowerPoint slide show with voiceovers. It is each team member's responsibility to ensure that your team's video can be viewed by me. Please do not use a password or security code to protect your video, or else I may be unable to open the file. Remember: If I cannot access it, see it or hear it, you will get no credit -- THIS RULE IS WITHOUT EXCEPTION. The video must be at least 12 minutes long and not longer than 15 minutes (points will be deducted for each 30 seconds less than 12 minutes and longer than 15 minutes).
