1.Let's start with the big, but very real picture for HRD managers. What factors might inhibit HRD managers from developing a strategic planning approach to training? How might these factors be overcome?

At the same time, Learning and Development is undergoing a revolution - moving from delivering courses to promoting a workplace learning culture. Have a look at this slide presentation by Jane Hart. She conducts an annual global survey. In this presentation, she shares the top 10 2015 trends in learning - both formal and informal learning.

Based on these findings, how do you see the future of learning? is it through traditional training or is it more about learners accessing information when they need it?

3. Needs assessment is the most important thing you will learn in this class. It involves organization, person, and task analysis.  Which one of these analyses do you believe is most important? Which is least important? Why?
