I have chosen Owens Corning for my strategy focus for this class. According to Owens Corning (2017), "Owens Corning is a global company that develops and produces insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composites. Owens Corning develops, manufactures and markets insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composites. A Fortune 500 company for 62 consecutive years, the company develops solutions that save energy and improve comfort in commercial and residential buildings. Through its glass reinforcements business, Owens Corning makes thousands of products lighter, stronger and more durable." This company is headquartered in Toledo, Ohio with over fifteen thousand employees globally, revenue over 1.58 billing dollars. The insulation and roofing businesses make new and existing homes and buildings more energy efficient, comfortable and attractive. The composites business manufactures products from fiberglass reinforcements to meet diverse needs in diverse markets.
