Arnold was seen in the clinic today for an ongoing problem with Sinusitis. His symptoms include fever, stomach ache and diarrhea. He was seen by Dr. Padma Amil for a walk-in visit. Dr. Amil's Acute Care Visit note has been entered in Arnold's EHR under the Notes tab. Review this visit note and, using the information provided in the note, create a preliminary claim for this visit under the Account section of the chart on the Claims tab. Start a new claim that will be submitted to Arnold's insurance on file. Add the appropriate diagnosis and procedure code(s) by clicking Add Diagnosis and Add Procedure in the new claim, as needed. For any procedure added, use the primary reason for the patient's visit as the diagnosis pointer. The Charge and Days or Units fields can remain blank. When finished with the claim, click Save without Posting and then Close Session.
