As Bar Manager, you are responsible for much of the on-the-job training of new employees who arrive to work behind the bars at The Righteous Inn.

Today you are again faced with a regular topic - hand washing: it is not particularly a task you relish doing because you while you want to convey all the right messages, you don't want the person you are training to feel you have inferred they are 'dirty' or 'unclean' in any way.

Still, it's too serious a subject to ignore and you have seen this person start work pulling beers and mixing and serving drinks without washing their hands after cleaning the ash trays in the smokers' area, after cleaning the floors after the lunchtime rush and (yuck) after having sneezed into their hands while stocking the fridges with new stock.

You take a minute to review your well-practised spiel and head off to meet this new worker in the staff change room which you always use for this session because it has all the things you need.

This one job you'll be glad to wash your hands off!
