Consider a steam power plant that operates on the ideal reheat rankine cycle. Steam enters the high-pressure turbine at 6 mpa and 400°c and leaves at 2 mpa. Steam is reheated to 400°c and expands in the low-pressure turbine to 20 kpa. Determine:

1. the turbine work output in kj/kg.

2. the exergy destruction associated with each of the processes of the reheat rankine cycle.
