Steam at 1.0MPa and 300C with a mass flow rate of 10kg/s enters an insulated turbine operating at steady state and exits at 15 KPa. Kinetic and potential energy effects are negligible. Show the process on a T-s diagram with respect to the saturation lines. If the work developed by the turbine is measured to be 630 kJ/kg. Determine the isentropic efficiency of the turbine, the exit temperature, the quality at the exit if a two-phase liquid-vapor mixture exits, the entropy generation rate within the turbine and total entropy generation rate(turbine + surroundings) and whether the process is internally reversible and whether the process is externally reversible.
