During a meeting, one hospital administrator indicated that 70% of the geriatric patients are males.

a. What is the sample proportion of male patients?

b. Assumiong that the administrator is correct, what is the probability that a sample of this size would have a sample proportion as extremem or more extreme than the one you found in part a?
