The producer of a certain brand of eggs claims their eggs have reduced cholesterol content, with an average of only 4.6% cholesterol with standard deviation of 2.8%. A concerned health group wants to test whether the claim is true. The group believes that more cholesterol may be found, on average, in the eggs.

a) State the null and the alternate hypothesis that the health group wishes to test.

b) A random sample of 100 eggs reveals a sample mean of 5.2% cholesterol. Calculate the value of the test statistic.

c) Run the appropriate test in MiniTab and show output. Indicate the probability in the Normal Probability Plot.

d) What is final conclusion for this test. From your test results, does the health group's claim seem reasonable at the 5% significance level? Explain.
