Cobalt-60 can be used as a medical radiation source. Cobalt-60 exhibits first order decay and has a half-life of 5.26 years. If it must be replaced in a radiotherapy unit when its radioactivity decreases to 75% of its original value, how long can a 1.00 g sample be employed? (Treat the mass of cobalt as you would molarity in an integrated rate law).
