A vessel is injected with SO2 as well as SO3 such that Pso2 = 2.0atm and Pso3 = 4.0 atm. At 1000K it is known that sulfur trioxide will incompletely decompose generating oxygen.

2 SO3(g) <--> 2 SO2(g) + O2(g), Kp = 4.1 x 10^-3

As Kp is rather small we anticipate not too much decomposition. Use Q to conclude if steady-state pressures, equilibrium pressures are achieved at 10% reaction or 5% reaction, or 2.5% reaction or 1.0% reaction relative to SO3 (Pso3 initial = 4.0 atm)
