In Part 3 of the lab you will determine the [SO2] in the wine. Suppose you measure the 5.00 mL of wine into a 125-mL Erlenmeyer flask, add 3 mL of starch indicator and a spatula of KI. You then titrate the wine with the standard I2 solution (0.100g I2/L). You find that the titration requires 14.02 mL of I2 solution. How many moles of I2 were used in the titration? How many moles of SO2 were in the 5.00 mL sample of wine? Determine the mass of SO2 (in mg) in the 5.00 mL sample of wine. Determine the concentration of SO2 (in mg/L) in the wine.
