When a sucba diver goes to a dive shop to have her scuba tanks filled with air, the tank is connected to a compressor and filled to about 2100 psia while immersed in a tank of water (so that the compression of air into the tank will be approximately isothermal).

Suppose the tank is filled without inserting it into a water bath, and air at 27 C is comprssed very rapidly from 1 atm absolute to the same final pressure as above. The final termperature would be about 700 C. Compute the fractional increase or decrease in the final quantity of air put int the tank relative to the isothermal case. Assume that the air behaves as a pure real gas wtih Pc = 37.2 atm and Tc = 132.5K. Recall pV = znRT; also that Pr = P/Pcq
