Mark was employed as hair stylist by Roger in his salon on Hong Kong side. Mark's employment contract contained the following term:

"After the termination of the employment contract, Mark cannot work as hairdresser or in any capacity connected with hairdressing in competition with Roger Salon for a period of 1 year."

Mark leaves the employment and starts to work for hairdressing salon in Jordan. Roger seeks to prevent Mark from working as a hairdresser and applies for a court injunction.
