You are starting a new business. Your mentor told you to start a weekly e-newsletter and to send it to as many people as possible. You google "buying email lists" and find two different businesses that will sell you lists for a reasonable price.

You buy a list from each company and send your e-newsletter out to all the names using a different email for each so you can track which company sold you a better list.

After 5 weeks you have an idea which list is best but before you can do anything you get a visit from the police. Luckily you aren't at the office when they stop by.
