Starbucks Expansion into Ontario

Suppose that you are Regional Vice President in the Ontario region for the Starbucks Coffee Company ("Starbucks"). Ontario has traditionally been the most competitive region in Canada for the company. This fiscal year, Starbuck's has made tremendous advances in acquiring more market share in Ontario. The CEO of Starbucks Canada has directed you target Second Cup's market share specifically. This means a) increasing sales and reducing expenses per location and, b) adding more locations in strategic Ontario regions, especially the Greater Toronto Area. You need to come up with the Ontario growth strategy to present to the CEO. The strategy should address the challenges you may foresee with this transition (i.e. employment, management, marketing, operations, leadership, etc.). Remember: This is an ethics course so your strategy has to have an ethics and corporate social responsibility focus.

Provide me with a transition strategy plan with the following headings: 

1. Executive Summary (Short summary what you are trying to accomplish. Hint: Even though this is the Introduction, do this at the end because it is a summary of your whole project).
2. Identify Challenges (List all issues and challenges you anticipate encountering).
3. Action Plan/Solution (Develop a strategy that will fulfill your mission and, to address the challenges you have identified).
4. Expected Outcome (Your expected outcome should not be just qualitative. Make some quantitative assumptions as well)
