Using the Standard Error of Estimate and the slope and the intercept, what importance do both play. Why would a researcher want to measure from the intercept where the regression line crosses the Y-axis? Give an example of what a researcher would measure and how well a set of data points fit a straight line can be measured by calculating the distance between the data points and the line.
