Question

We learn from Levi that there are stages of team development that can bring success as well as failure. Unfortunately, some teams can get stuck in conflict and never make it to the performing stage because they never worked on earlier problems when they first emerged. Remember, emotional highs and lows are a normal part of team development. That is why it is important to develop social relations, so you can build on the relationship aspect from the very beginning. Truly, that will help your team to get through the task issues and reach the finish line with a quality presentation/consultant report. Now consider your MBTI four letters. Now think about the MBTI results from your fellow teammates.

1. How is your team functioning, thus far, when you compare and contrast relationship-building vs task building? From a personal perspective, which is easier for you (completing tasks or building relationships) and why?

2. What strength are you bringing to your team?

3. What areas could you stretch yourself (perhaps even out of your comfort zone) to make your team into a, truly, high-performing team experience?
