For this assignment, you will be reviewing material on the stages of prenatal development and the internal and external factors that can affect development before birth. You will then be summarizing what you have learned in a table (using a provided template).

Review the following PowerPoint (containing a fetal growth graph), PDF article, and weblink article. All three references are also located in Blackboard.

Review the stages of prenatal development table provided below. The table includes each of the following stages of prenatal development:

Zygote (Ovum)
Embryo
Fetus

Within your table for each stage of prenatal development you will list and explain three major physical developments or changes that occur during that stage. You will also identify how each stage of prenatal development can be affected by three internal and/or external factors (e.g., genetics, environmental toxins, etc.). Finally, make sure to indicate the approximate timeframe for each period of development.
