Kitty used to be a very famous reality show star. She has since fallen out of favour. Kitty thinks that the one thing she needs to get back in the spotlight is buttock implants. She goes to see her plastic surgeon, Dr. Moneybags, and he explains the surgical procedure to Kitty but does not warn Kitty about post-surgical complications or the possibility that the implants could rupture. Kitty has the surgery and one month later, through normal use (sitting, standing and shopping), one of the implants ruptures (breaks open). Kitty had to get emergency surgery to remove the ruptured implant and at the same time she opted to have the other implant removed. The manufacturer, Kurdashian Inc., knew about the risk of rupture of the implants through ordinary use. They learned of this after they sold the implants to Dr. Moneybags. Kitty now has scarring and is very depressed. She sues Dr. Moneybags and the implant manufacturer, Kurdashian Inc.
