Problem: American children fall behind the curve when it comes to speaking a foreign language in comparison to European children who typically learn English from a very young age. The daycares in the US either do not teach a foreign language or if they do, it is unaffordable for low to middle-income families.

Solution: Expand our single daycare center in Philadelphia to multiple locations who will teach our children from entry to completion conversational Spanish. We will hire assistants who will speak only Spanish to the children when they are feeding them, diapering, playing, etc. Remember these children are ages 6 weeks to 4 years old typically so it will not be a classroom setting but integrated into the daily activities. I found a study that shows babies under 3 can learn a foreign language with just 1 hour of teaching per day. With immersion from say, 6 months to 4 years old our daycare can "graduate" bilingual children without our parents paying the prices of KinderCare or Montessori.
